ARIANNA HUFFINGTON ON FEARLESS LEADERSHIP.
Hubspot, one of the most successful SAAS companies today, has just published some awesome videos from their Inbound13 conference.
One of my favourites is this great presentation by Arianna Huffington titled “From Politics to the boardroom: Fearless Leadership” (video below)
Arianna Huffington on fearless leadership, here are some points mentioned which I like a low:
- “Remember to rest and take care of ourself: Bill Clinton and many other leaders made their biggest mistakes when they were tired.”
- “If you read the biography of Winston Churchill, Da vinci and JFK they were all persons who took their naps in order to rest. “
- “How do we reconnect with our energy and get back to do all the things we need to do?”
- “Men have designed the place we live in and its not working. Women need to lead the way out of it”
- “Leaders need to see the Icebergs before it hits the Titanic”
- “World is moving so fast and change is happening so quickly, that we need to connect with our inner wisdom”
- “We need to make our live more inbound”
- “Time is the biggest resource that everyone needs, more than money and power”
- “hyperconnectivity” is like “snake in the garden”: we need to take charge again and disconnect from technology in order to connect with ourselves
On of the most interesting findings is that Huffington has opened a new section called “Screen Sense” where they publish content to parents who´s children spend too much time in front of the screen.
